BIM
Britt Rice Electric has been incorporating the use of BIM for some years now. We are committed to using the BIM process to produce a construction project where trades work together to identify, coordinate and eliminate conflicts prior to these issues affecting the schedule. We believe that when used properly BIM can be utilities to:
• Improve visualization
• Improve productivity due to easy retrieval of information
• Increased coordination of construction documents and reduce conflicts with other trades
• Embedding and linking of vital information such as vendors for specific materials, location or details and quantities required for estimation and tendering
• Increased speed of delivery
• Reduced Costs

• REVIT MEP 2011
• AutoCAD MEP 2011
• Navisworks Manage 2011
•Trimble
Trimble Technology
Britt Rice Electric is one of the few Electrical Contractors in the state to currently be using Trimble Technology. Trimble interfaces with the BIM benefiting us and our projects with:
• Better Control with digital information in the field
• Timely reporting and updating
• Reduced delays through better communication between the field and office.

We have incorporated CAD and BIM to help us minimize costly field changes. Their product knowledge provides cost saving alternatives to projects while still maintaining the aesthetics and visions of the Architect.
