WHAT IS THE BRITT RICE ELECTRIC APPRENTICE PROGRAM?
Britt Rice Electric, L.P. is the leading electrical contractor in the Brazos Valley. We offer the chance at a free education and paid work experience all in one through our licensed Apprentice Program.

The program is a four year program that meets once a week for four hours.

The Britt Rice Electric Program is approved by the Department of Labor.

THE APPRENTICE PROGRAM BENEFITS:
• Free, four year, apprentice program. You only pay for textbooks and supplies.
• Competitive hourly wages

• Work experience to prepare you for the Journeyman’s Exam.

WHAT ARE THE ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS?
• GED / High School Diploma
• Apprentice License
• No electrical experience needed to apply
• Drug test and criminal background check

WHAT IS THE ACCEPTANCE RATE?
40 applicants are chosen out of approximately 100 for our Apprentice Program each year.

IS THE APPRENTICE PROGRAM TRULY FREE?
The Apprentice Program Education is free of charge to you.
You only pay for your yearly textbooks and supplies.

 HOW TO APPLY

1. Apply In Person:
All applications must be done in person at our main office located at 3002 Longmire Dr, College Station, TX. 77845

2. Be Interviewed:
After reviewing your application we will contact you for an interview with our Hiring Manager.

3. Pre-Screening:
After having accepted a conditional job offer you will be required to complete a Drug Test and Criminal Background Check.
